Oral & Poster Guidelines
• Oral Presentations:
Oral presentations will be
selected based on abstract submissions. Presentations will be
assigned to concurrent sessions based on submission topics (e.g.
Breeding & Genetics, Crop Production, Soil Health, G x E x M,
Digital Agriculture, System Resilience, Fruits, Vegetables,
Ornamentals, Root Crops, Protected Crops, Herbs & Medicinal Crops,
Ag Extensions & Networking) and common themes. You will be contacted
by email by April 25, 2025 if you are invited for an oral
presentation.
A small number of delegates
will be invited to deliver 30 minute presentations including a 20-25
minute talk and 5-10 minutes for questions. These may be assigned to
plenary sessions or concurrent sessions based on the scope of
research and multi-disciplinary interest.
Most oral presentations will
be 15 minutes including a 10-12 minute talk and 3-5 minutes for
questions. This will include all student competition presentations.
Student competition presenters will be evaluated by 2-3 judges.

There will be a 2.5 hour
poster session on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 during which presenters
will be asked to stand by their posters and discuss their research
with conference delegates. Student competition posters will be

Posters must be no larger
than 4 ft x 3 ft (120 cm x 90 cm) and may be portrait (vertical) or
landscape (horizontal). There is no required template for posters,
however we encourage presenters to consider visual appeal, clarity,
legibility, and accessibility in creating their designs.
